99u.com- Creative Ideas from a Creative Website

I have a new website for ya’ll! I have mentioned about this organization a few blogs back when I spoke about their newly released book, “Manage Your Day-To-Day: Build Your Routine, Find Your Focus & Sharpen Your Mind.” Yes I am speaking about the cool company called 99U. First, let me say that for one I think the idea behind their name is awesome! It was based or perhaps inspired by Edison’s quote: “Genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration.” Their websites offers great articles, workbooks, and videos that speak upon the subject of creativity, innovation, and how to make your good ideas happen. There is a little something here for everyone from the artist to a business company, etc. 
 

In researching their website, looking specifically in the workbook section, I came across a story called “How Dr. Seuss Beat Writers Block.” I won’t give you all the details of course because you should check it out for yourself. However let’s just say that Dr. Seuss way of getting rid of his creative block was very…well… Dr. Seuss.  

I stumbled across another fun article titled “Improve Creativity: Keep a Notebook Near Your Bed.” HA! Just last week I spoke about creating your very own creative journal for writing down your freshly inspired innovative ideas.  This is definitely another great website that will offer you such inspiration and trigger your brain to get down and get moving on those ideas you may have put up on the shelf. Here is my impromptu idea for the week: Take a look at the 99u website and check out a couple of their articles, videos, and or workbooks. If there is a post that you see that inspires you, use it to  inspire a new creative venture.
